Good Drinks & Food, Music, Lively Atmosphere, Excellent Service, Amazing Ambiance. All in all, these are some major factors which I want in a restaurant.
Its quite difficult to find these essential factors in one place. But I had the pleasure to be a patron at Raasta Kolkata. It’s a huge space at Celica Park, Park Street area that houses several high-end eating joints. Located in the heart of the Park Street area, this bar and grill has a great vibe and a rooftop terrace that offers some stunning views of the city.
The Raasta Menu is available via a QR code scan. They have a sister restaurant right beside which goes by the name, Yeti. The menu includes that too. It has a good choice of Himalayan cuisine, Continental, Grills, Pizzas & Pastas.
We shortlisted few appetizers and few drinks for our luncheon. Some of the items we tried from Raasta Kolkata Menu were Nacho Corn Chaat, Veg Barbados Platter, Mix Big Boy Veggie Platter, and Veg Salt & Pepper. I was not impressed with the portion sizes of the platters. The contents were somewhat smaller in size but the taste was too good. For the drinks, the options that we went ahead were Palmyra, Sambucus, Watermelon Mojito & La Fraise for the mocktails and Devil’s Bay, Barbados & Sangria for the cocktails. Each and every drink is highly recommended and made to perfection. They offer a range of classic and signature drinks, as well as a good selection of beers and wines
For the mains, it was Paneer Paprika Pizza, Penne Pesto, and Cottage Cheese Steak. I personally liked the Cottage Cheese Steak which had a wholesome paneer steak with herbed rice and lettuce, olives and cherry tomato salad. The food, though with limited portion sizes, has an exquisite taste and will surely ring a bell in your taste buds. The staff is very courteous and looks forward to serve you.
They have a choice of amazing Hookahs with premium hookah (with fruit base) also available. Valet Parking available as well. I would suggest Raasta Kolkata only if you want a fancy atmosphere at a great location, with good music and an extensive menu. I would again reiterate that the food portions are very less compared to the prices.
An Insatiable Foodie 
Looks like a great place to visit. The food and drinks look so good. I’m looking forward to the pizza and watermelon mojito! This will definitely go on my to-do list. I look forward to seeing more from you guys.
