Roma’s Café Diner – Varanasi

Incredible restaurant worth a praise. This restaurant is building a name for itself with an immaculate service staff, decor and amazing lip-smacking food. It is housed in Swastik Plaza, which also has other famous restaurants like Flavours, Sagar Ratna etc. But the aura of Roma’s Cafe is exhilarating. The decor will give you a feel of an American diner which is seldom found in a city like Varanasi.

The food is what calls for applause after the decor. We tasted a good lot of the items on the menu. Here goes;

Veg Manchow Soup: Crispy noodles topping, perfect for a start.

Tomato Basil Soup: Smooth

Chicken Wings: Very spicy, oozing with hotness.

Tandoori Chicken: Okayish but juicy indeed.

Corn and cheese balls: Definitely worth a try for a small bite. Fried to crispness.

Grilled Fish: Tasted incredible, marinated with mayonnaise concoction and along with boiled veggies and mashed potatoes

Garlic Prawns: The best of the lot. Perfectly crisp and not too much oil.

For the main course, we had Indian breads and vegetables, being paneer, dal makhani and aloo dum. They all tasted great.

It was indeed a good dining experience.

There is a private space on to the left of the restaurant wherein you can host a buffet lounge party of about 20-25 people. Prior reservations recommended. You can connect your mobile or laptop to the computer and play whichever songs you like. There is also a disco ball affixed on the ceiling. The whole lounge place is very lively.

Do give it a try when you are in Varanasi, India.
